• The risk factor of using e-learning development programmes has considerably dropped, as the technology has passed the proof of concept stage. This has resulted in more and more people showing a higher interest.
• When questioned if a slowdown had been noticed, companies admitted that the current economic situation had slowed some sales, but the overall benefits and higher interest continued to keep things moving forward in a positive nature.
• Looking into the all important public sector, the overall trend in terms of e-learning remained very positive.
• The economy was seen as challenging, but many admitted that there were a number of opportunities for e-learning in the current climate, especially due to the cost effective nature of online studies.
