In this module we offer an overview of the key concepts associated with Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
We learn about search engines, content networks and the typical risks of an SEO campaign. We take a look at the key differences between SEO and 'Paid' search and look at the pros and cons of each.
In this module we continue to discuss the benefits of SEO, whilst looking at typical costs and risks associated with search engine optimization.
In this module we look at the science of SEO... We look at what we know about search engine algorithms and we look at what's required in terms of technology and technical ability.
In this module we cover keyphrase and keyword strategy as well as how to benchmark your website against your competitors.
The 1st mini quiz is presented at the end of this module.
In this module we discuss how search engines work and how to get your site indexed by the leading search engines. We discuss using site maps, common exclusion and inclusion factors and how to manage time sensitive campaigns and pages.
The 2nd mini quiz is presented at the end of this module.
In this video module we discuss on-page optimization factors that affect your web site. We discuss website metadata including; title tags, meta descriptions and meta keywords as well as learning about page coding factors, keyword density, page lengths, keyword strategies and human-friendly URL's.
In this video module we continue to look at key on-page optimization techniques and we look at good and bad examples in order to understand the key principles associated with on-page optimization.
At the end of this module your 3rd mini quiz will be presented in order to check that you have grasped the key learning points associated with on-page optimization.
In this module we look at link building and how this affects your Google PageRank. We take a good look at Google PageRank and teach you why it's vital for SEO purposes. We then look at all popular link building techniques from social media and social bookmarking to online PR and back linking. We discuss questionable link building methodologies and what link building opportunities to avoid.
At the end of this module your new-found knowledge will be tested with the 4th mini quiz.
In this module we offer a practical step-by-step guide to implementing your SEO campaign. We start with auditing your site, improving your index inclusion, your site metadata and then we work through on and off-page optimization techniques, link building, navigation, architecture, content, design and other important elements.
In this module you get to implement what you've learnt in the previous 8 modules via an easy step-by-step guideline.
In this video module we look at the future of SEO and what to anticipate in terms of new developments. We also take a look at real-time search and how this will affect search marketing.
The Final Knowledge Test is presented once the module is completed. You will need to score 75% (18/25) in order to pass the Course and receive your Completion Certificate.
